A bright day with scattered cloud and sunny spells.

The weather forecast for the Cannock Chase and surrounding area Friday 23rd and outlook for the weekend.

 The day starts off dry, bright and chilly with clear skies. The morning and afternoon will see scattered cloud and plenty of sunshine. It will feel a cool day with the high of 8 c, and the winds will be light.

 The evening will be dry with cloud starting to build.

 After midnight it will be mainly cloudy. It will be a cold night at  1 c, leaving a frost.

Outlook for the weekend.

 Saturday morning and  afternoon will be cloudy.

 During the late afternoon, heavy prolonged rain will enter the area from the south-west. The high of the day will be 11 c and it will become a little breezy.

 The heavy rain will continue through the evening and overnight.

Sunday. Any overnight showers clearing away to leave mainly a cloudy day with some brighter spells. Late afternoon there will be a chance of a few isolated showers.
