Dry start, heavy rain during the afternoon with gale force winds.

The weather forecast for the Cannock and surrounding area Thursday 22nd and outlook for Friday.

 The early morning starts off with broken cloud and some brighter spells. It will be very breezy.

 Around mid morning we will lose any breaks in the cloud. The wind will start to increese in speed. Around lunchtime the rain will enter the area. The rain will turn heavy and prolonged during the afternoon. The wind will now become gale force gusting over 40 mph. The high of the day will be 11 c.

 The evening will see the rain continuing. The winds will become lighter and the rain will start clearing away around midnight. The overnight low will be 4 c.

Outlook for Friday.

 A day with well scattered cloud and long sunny spells, 8 c,
